Latest health care bill collapses after defections of two more Senators

Republicans are caught in a vise between two donor classes. One, insurance companies, want to keep all the cross-subsidies, etc of obamacare. The other, big business, would like a socialized system to free them from having to provide health care. It's not like Buffett or CEO's are going to have to use it themselves, so they would prefer handing the huge expense off to taxpayers.
