A cooperation deal was struck, without the US European nations would have armed to the teeth. Without Europe the US would never have developed the atomic bomb (in time).

Russia is always over estimated, possibly because it looks abnormally large on a map and its always been in the interest of the US military industrial complex to exaggerate, it certainly over spends on military but the economy for much of its history struggled to match Italy alone.

The reality is that militarily in tbe context of any attack against the US they needed to control the energy supply, the Middle East had always been the focus because of this. The plan to retain dominance of the Middle East by any means was devised in the 40s. This has kept both Europe and the USSR and China from one direction in check.

They would be stronger if they needed to be. Don't forget that five minutes before, a handful of European nations controlled most of the world. It was a choice to put that away having done it so long. That and for a long time Europe due to two catastrophic wars and the Spanish Flu had a serious demographic issue. Hyper-militarism had become unpopular.

(Edit: not to mention the massive young population drain that surged after the 1840s to the Americas North and South, NZ, Australia, Rhodesia/South Africa..)

We always see Europe to USA but the Americas were a MASSIVE drain to Europe. How many Italians to Brazil? How many.. Every European country had a favorite migration target in this period. The very existence of the countries chest beating about seeing themselves as exceptional young virile populations vs stodgy old Europe.. Its not very sensible.

What is anyone supposed to do when the judges on the lower and appellate courts refuse to do their jobs? At a minimum, they should be looking at the evidence instead, of saying there is no evidence? President Donald Trump believes he won the election as I do and tens of millions of Americans but, judges will not allow evidence to be presented? No amount of will power will change that. Can you will something to happen? You cannot control other people. Unless, you are a communist with the full backing of the army like in North Korea or Venezuela. Or perhaps you want President Donald Trump to declare martial law and order new elections run by the military. I would have no problem with that because I trust our military more than the numerous corrupt politicians and judges in power. And are you going to accept the results if President Donald Trump wins overwhelmingly?

I think it is important once again to differentiate the difference between Voting Fraud and Electoral Fraud. "Voting Security" protects against Electoral Fraud involving the voting processes, campaigns, election workers and systems; it does nothing in protecting against Voting Fraud which is perpetuated by individuals. Having the "most secure" election only is a statement about reduction of Electoral Fraud.

Let's go to the legal definitions of Voting Fraud and Electoral Fraud.

What Is Voter Fraud?
"Voter fraud" is the illegal behavior of individual voters, such as:
  • Duplicate voting: when someone impersonates another voter to vote twice
  • Vote selling: when a voter offers to vote a certain way for pay
  • A non-citizen voting in an election when they do not have a right to vote
  • A felon voting in an election before they have a right to do so
  • Voting in a district where the voter does not (or no longer) lives
What Is Electoral Fraud?
"Electoral fraud" or "election fraud" is illegal interference with the process of an election. Examples of electoral fraud can include:
  • Campaign or agency workers throwing away voter registration cards
  • Vote buying: when a campaign offers money for votes
  • Workers or volunteers forging signatures on a petition to get an issue or person on a ballot
  • Ballot harvesting: when a person or agency or campaign workers collect absentee or mail-in ballots to submit them (which provides an opportunity to change the vote or fail to submit the ballot for counting)
  • Robocall campaigns spreading misinformation about election dates, polling locations, or other election-related information in order to prevent some voters from voting
  • Illegal activity related to the counting and certification of election results, such as claims that some voting machines are changing votes

Honestly when Americans start play what if and they are (despite them being what America is) to support hubris. What if the planet has a smaller diameter and the Pacific and Atlantic oceans were smaller or even larger? Oh Oh and what if... thats the real yawnfest when you are older than 17.

The history we have is complicated enough to divine actual events from victors and losers accounts three generations on, adding Man in the High Castle tangents... now I must go and make a video for a birthday.
