When Trump won in 2020 there were millions of Democrats who did all sorts of ill advised crap because they believed Hillary should have been President because she won the popular vote. Conspiracies and Revolutionary talk, States bucking the Electoral College etc.
Fast forward to today, Republicans about 70 million of them feel their was substantial voter fraud, enough to effect the outcome of the election. So yeah, their pissed. But this isn’t about playing inside a set rules that need changing, they feel the election was illegally stolen from them.
Regardless of how you feel, it’s very real to them. Unless this is addressed, at the minimum addressing the problems so that no voter feels disenfranchised or cheated, we cannot move forward. The right to vote and freely elect a government is the cornerstone of our nation.
So the fuck em’, round them up, bullshit talk is being spewed by a bunch of people that don’t live here and have zero concern about the American people. They would rather see us eat each other. Which sadly is about to happen if we don’t start finding some common ground and trying to heal the division in this country.
Totally disagree. Voter ID can be made free of charge through local election boards. We do it here, works fine, no one complains.
The "most secure" is about the integrity of the voting system and ensuring they systems are not hacked or compromised. "Most secure" protects the voting system against wholesale "electoral fraud" (e.g. systems programmed or hacked to switch large numbers of votes".
"Most secure" has nothing to do with voter fraud --- voter fraud is carried out by people who are not allowed to vote, vote under assumed identities, or attempt to vote multiple times.
I disagree that Voter ID disenfranchises minority voters when a person can easily get a free picture government id or voting -- and states also allow you to file a provisional vote with other non-picture forms of id. I believe that a picture id system should have safeguards to make it more "permissive" rather than being "restrictive" by adding additional barriers/steps.

Yes..... this statement is about the integrity of the system. It is not about someone who showed up and voted using their cousin's name.

This election I’m aware of 2 cases in Pennsylvania. Both trying to vote for Trump twice.
