Wouldn't matter to gwb. He's going to believe what he believes, ignorant and misguided as it is.
But that's really no different than those in Congress -- other than the few who've actually served -- who keep getting us into these messes while keeping their hands spotlessly clean.

I'll be honest, I "feel dirty" when this "my military service was greater than your military service" comes up. But it's kind of like sniping, if the other guy is going to do it...

But we did get a picture of what DB considers to be "in action"...
It's not a question of oneupsmanship. It's a matter of those whose opinions are based on actual service rather than on what they've seen on FoxNews, or the movies. Posting a picture of somebody with a rainbow flag doesn't change any of that.
If you are such an expert in service then you can explain your service ... which you claim gives you expertise over everyone else.
And why would I bother to discuss it with people like you?
The question is not about expertise but about experience. Those who have none will have different opinions than those who do. Which is why those with military experience who evaluate the whole Kyle situation have far greater currency than those who have no experience at all. This is not to say that there won't be people with experience who think he was just great, but at least they're basing it on something besides an inflated view of self-importance, like Cheney.
