Kenyan-born Obama all set for US Senate - 2004 article

Quote from piezoe:

Good God! This is such an idiotic issue. It doesn't matter where he was born as long as at least one of his parents was an American citizen he satisfies the Constitutional requirement. And never mind that he was born on U.S. soil, in a U.S. state. McCain was born in Panama for God sake, and we did not hear any idiots coming forth on that issue.

Do Republicans own 100% of the idiot U.S. population?

Give it a rest folks.

There is no validity to your statement.
The supreme court has not defined natural born citizen.
Many would argue it requires 2 american parents and born on american soil.

And many argued McCain should be vetted as well.

The snopes article validated the article. Guess you forgot to actually read it? Don't worry, it happens, to some people, somewhere.... probably.

Quote from Gabfly1:

It looks like Savant has been Snoped. How very surprising.

What's the matter, Savant? Facts alone can't quite do the job for you?

Try reading it yourself:

...However, the Associated Press made no such reference; the identification of Barack Obama as "Kenyan-born" was added in the Sunday Standard's version of the AP story by someone else (who misspelled the politician's given name as "Barrack" in the process) and is apparently unique to that publication. The full text of the "Jack Ryan Abandons Senate Bid" article as originally issued by the Associated Press is retrievable from the LexisNexis archive of global news sources, and it contains no reference (in the lead-in or elsewhere) to Barack Obama's being "Kenyan-born"...

And so, Savant, just one more in a long line of false attributions? No surprise there, eh?

Since the Supreme Court has not defined it, and since a person is innocent until proven guilty...

...then Obama should be on the ballot of every state until the courts decide otherwise.

"...one more in a long line of false attributions..."

Predicting that line continues to lengthen into the future.

Ah, so you're saying it was a rogue journalist conspiracy! Wow, you're just full of these conspiracy theories aren't you? Is that a Canadian thing?

"Conspiracy" is your word. The story as presented in your source, replete with inaccuracies, was attributed to AP. That was a bald-faced falsehood. Such inaccuracies in news reporting don't bother you?

Oh, his MO is to introduce his words frequently, and when you call him on it, he then does this:

Proof Obama was not born in Kenya. Rather here is a picture of his mother raising him as a Somali pirate.
