Thanks to the cameras and video, he was able to exonerate himself. Without it, he could have been locked up in jail and probably, fined huge sums to boot! Yet, he did nothing to her! She was just one crazed lunatic who loved to accuse men of all sorts of things depending on what fancies her! Majority of women political hacks took her side and lambasted Corey Lewandowski on cable tv non-stop! A judge finally, acquitted him saying: incidental contact in a crowded room is not assault! Can you imagine what would have happened if she won and it set a very bad precedent encouraging other women to sue for the flimsiest reasons because it suits them?

Flake voted to move out of committee, but going forward he wants the FBI to investigate current allegations within one week. I say that's a good compromise. If I was Kavanaugh, I would want that too.
For me, the key is it's limited to "current allegations" which are Dr Ford's.

They need to be real careful they spell that out.
