You forgot to mention the other side of the coin: either you sell your conscience and soul to save your ass in November. Or you take the moral high ground and want an investigation regardless of the fuck ups democrats created with Feinstein. I don't think even Senators in hot seats have much to fear in November from their own base. Who else are those people gonna vote for anyway?

The issue I have is the politically motivated assassination of a man without blemish on his record. This has brought the level of integrity in Senate hearings to a new low which undermines our democracy. The people who orchestrated this smear campaign need to be called out for their absurd behavior and held accountable.
