Kavanaugh is on fire

Well, there is a republican majority so nothing to worry. I myself want to see a conservative Supreme Court Judge. And with this investigation, whatever it finds, all conscience will be wiped clean. I think that is a good thing even for Kav and all Republicans.

We're way past fair. Republicans have done nothing but yielded and yielded. Democrats have shrieked and shrieked and will still vote "no" even when this FBI investigation finds nothing.

Total nonsense. A huge majority of Republican voters will see through this sharade by the remaining senators. I think Flake bought himself good sleep and a huge dose of trust and popularity today

Flake is a no vote. His entire future depends on that. Even he cannot be stupid enough to believe he has any future as a republican for any office. He may have some grandiose idea of running for the top spot as an independent in2020, or a number two spot with some democrat. He'll never ever be welcome on the MSBNC set if he votes yes. He's done politically if he did that.
Murkowski is a heavy bet to vote no, and Collins is looking for a way out of voting yes. That means they need a couple democrats to push this through, and hold the ranks of the rest. We'll see if there's a sane and rational democrat left over on that side of the isle.

I have not had a chance to read this whole thread.
But I can tell you all that using today's meanings from urban dictionary type sources is ridiculous.
You have to look at how the terms were used in the early 80s. Terms and usage change over 30 years.

Boofing was most definitely flatulence in some circles back then. I heard the term hundreds of times in the past. When it was brought up I thought of road trips and teams staying in hotel rooms and people complaining about the other guy boofing all night.

Devils triangle could have been a drinking game back then. We drank tons of beer in schools in the 80s. There were myriad variations of quarters. I believe I had heard of the game but I do not remember the rules.

I do feel bad for Renate.

2. On another note... saying long answers is a key sign for law enforcement has to be put in context.

When you deal with below average IQ individuals they tend to not understand which questions will really implicate them a criminal investigation so they ramble in an attempt to be evasive.

You would not apply that same investigative rule of thumb to a judge.

let's put Kavanagh's conservative judicial philosophy aside, do you truly believe, he is a good fit for SCOTUS? Trump has many other conservative candidates. go with another one who is vetted better.

As a hiring manager, would you go with the best candidate with a shady and questionable past and unresolved allegations or the second best with none of those kinda issues?

Extension granted for FBI investigations. Cowards. Let me go on record right now. During the next few days we will see at least one more person coming forward with another claim which cannot be proved. This gives the dems an opportunity to say we just can't consider a vote with so many allegations. At that point we'll see if the senate and we as a nation have the courage to just say fuck you and confirm him, or if we fall into the abyss of radical left madness.

Disagree if FBI comes back with nothing, there will be few Dems who will vote for him. If FBI is not allowed to carry it, it will be GOP only votes. Curious has it ever happened before?

hold your horses, snowflake, more than half of the nation doesn't want this douche bag as SC Judge. so we as a nation are showing our courage to stand up and call it BS as it is.

And I would be remiss if not to point out that this is being turned over to an obviously bias and criminally corrupt FBI which is permeated with radical left imbeds. Just sayin.

I ask you, would it be disqualifying if the Judge told you they were a bit drunk and having fun and after he started moving his hands around her body he realized she was no longer a willing participant so he stopped?

To me this high school groping would be disqualifying if the Judge lied about it or it was proven he continued to grope her or forced himself on her after she said no.

P.S. to AAA i slightly changed my answer but the phone rang and I did not repost for a few minutes.
