Bingo. What is missing in the equation regarding kids? They can't scream "help me, help me!" Hence the mandated reporters, anonymous hot lines, Cps showing up at the door.
If CPS knocks on your door and you refuse or are unable to answer their questions you won't leave them much choice except to remove the kids.
only problem is this wasn't the case. from the timeline of the received calls at the women's shelter.. it took 3 days for the sheriff to get his posse together and illegally raid the ranch. a simple phone trace would have alerted him that the distressed caller was in colorado springs.

Gerry is also challenging the way the DNA was taken:
His filing goes on to accuse authorities of withholding salient facts from the court, and searching and seizing property at the ranch in an âunreasonableâ and âexpansiveâ way that infringed on the polygamistsâ constitutional rights. Of particular concern is the seizing of blood, pubic hairs and other DNA from members of the polygamist sect, it said.
âOfficers took action beyond the scope that these warrants authorized,â Goldstein claims.

The sheriff noted that Goldstein doesnât support polygamy, incest or child abuse. He took on the case for a larger cause.
âPart of the reason heâs involved is his courage and fearlessness to represent criminal defendants who may not always be the most popular individuals or groups,â Braudis said. âHe has explained to me that the authorities obtained a search warrant for what he described as âan entire village.â There are hundreds of houses and thousands of people living in the Yearning for Zion Ranch in Eldorado, Texas, and (he says) he is protecting not just their constitutional rights against unreasonable search and seizure, but yours and mine too. He is a great gladiator in the constitutional arena......â

Looks like the ranch has a very good lawyer, and a good case for the constitution rights. When the DNA is conclusive, will anyone claim the constitutional rights of the women and children were violated and have been gnereation after generation? Or will people forget about that and defend the constitutional rights of the men who use brainswashing and fear tactics to control women and children so they can have all the sex they want, from a variety of partners, and add a young one when the others get old. All for god don't forget.
If US judicial history is any metric, the rights of an organization out weigh the rights of an individual.
