It does happen, thought rarely. I have seen it happening on beretta and sig. It it just very inconvenient to operate a hand gun with a hot slide. Every second counts in these deadly situations.

As I have shown to you by your 0.7 examples, studies are often biased and do not show real picture, especially on the subject of guns. We do not even really know how many firearms we have in our country.

My preferred allowed hunting rifle would be side by side. We both know this will not pass ever.

No I have not. One way a town can be secured is by airstrikes destroying about 10-20% of it, the rest will be given a chance of either surrender or death. Most will surrender.

Just because the wars are not run this way due to humanitarian reasons, does not mean they can not. The fact is AR15 will not help. The minimal required weapon for effective protection will be modern cannons, self guided rockets and grenades with launchers, and lots of them.

I also doubt that our military will turn against us.
