I don't see a wedge on the chart that you are speaking of but then again I don't have the same view of the market as you. That's ok though. Again I would really reread rn's last post and every one before that. It was a game changer for me .

How to build a plan and stick to it at the same time allowing the flexibility to get out of the market. All the other mistakes I make are naturally a result of not having an encompassing plan.

Hard stops easy
Setups easy
Taking profits fuk - when you are trading for 2-5 points any exit signal takes a big chunk from profits
 
There is no right or wrong answer to that but I use simple price action and have guidelines based around it that I am comfortable with. From your last few posts it doesn't seem like hard stops are easy for you. I mean this in the nicest way. You are spinning yourself in circles and don't know it. I have done this. Read ALL of rn's posts.

Price gapped up

There’s a S&R area under where price currently is (blue lines)

Price pulled back to just above 50% – both in the lower channel.., and from the H, to the low – of the S&R area (yellow line)

Price is in an up channel

Price is in a wedge (pink line)

What else?

Ok....... So back on the journal track then. I have my stocks and charts marked up and planned for tomorrow. Let's see what price has to offer this week. Trade well Rn. Put some new money in the account , hopefully not mine :). If it is, no hard feelings.
