This happend to me a few months ago. I was at work and I noticed that my finger had picked up a splinter from somewhere. I thought to myself "If I had a pin, I could dig out that splinter. Where can I find a pin around here?"
I thought for about 10 minutes about this before I realized the following: Hey, I'm at work. In a medical supply factory. Packaging insullin syringes. I have hundreds of quality rejected syringes around me that have very sharp pins and good grips on them.
It was about this time that I started to accept the fact that I many not be smart enough to work around sharp objects.
