I agree. What I am totally liking as I dive deeper into your statements is that you are doing this with fairly small size (# of contracts per day.)
Gives me hope that I can soon get back to that level of trading. That late July spike down you had was very uncomfortable to witness, but it really does look like you are on your way back up! I hope to join you there soon!

had a -$1000 hit today in a trend day of all days.
one thing i did improve since last time is avoiding the additional contracts on these types of days (i still average into a zone if it's relative flat move). That saved me a bit
But this gives me a chance to review days like today, like 7/19, 7/22. finding that balance between false trend/breakout vs a real one..that's the challenge for me right now..
