Nice rebound. Congrats!
There is no rebound. He is now back to July 1st levels. He is taking two steps back for one forward. That needs to be fixed.
I respectfully disagree. I think the results of the last four days shows remarkable resilience. An $8,800 loss in two days that was self inflicted, would have taken most traders out and they would have continued in a downward spiral to blow out the account.
He logically identified his mistakes. He fought the market direction last Friday and on Monday he was constantly on the wrong side of the chop and admittedly went on "Tilt". How many traders could suffer that kind of loss and still be slightly profitable for July. For that I say Congrats and keep posting. I love following your results.
I created two new Google gmail, Youtube, Twitter, Discord, Steam accounts for my kids...all of it in less than 30 minutes. All of that for their gaming needs and I'm not a gamer.
As for the live streaming...I know nothing about it. The kids and their school friends setup their live streaming. I'm not exactly sure how they did it. I'm just the parent that's financing all of their computer & equipment needs.
Thus, not sure why creating a 2nd account would be difficult for you ?
In contrast, the equipment needed may be a task if you know nothing about streaming. You'll have to ask questions of those doing it. I myself recommend you first talk to the gamers...they know all about that stuff as if it was easy like opening a book to read.
There's videos on Youtube of people streaming their trades in Ninjatrader 7 if that's what you meant by NT7. I don't see any full account names / numbers in those videos. Thus, the "display number" column is obviously being resized to only show a little of the info but not all of the info to ensure which account is being traded...sim or real.
Yet, I do understand adding a 2nd email account, opening up 2nd Youtube account or whatever can all be intimidating for some. Recently, one of my grandparents freaked out about how to setup a Amazon account to buy stuff online instead going to the store since losing driving priviledges.

You're only looking at the profit/loss column instead of the other important areas of his trading.
No matter how much trading experience he has...he's still new to futures. He's going thru an adjustment/learning period and hopefully he'll figure out how not to take those big hits on the losses.
Most would have blown up their accounts by now or refunded it several times because a 8k loss on a small account like his is too much to recover from...most will just unglue and lose all control.
The problem area seems to be the averaging into losing trades and issue with identifying price direction or recognizing when the direction has changed. Then again...only the few can get away with that but most eventually can't and is the reason for a spectacular blow up.
The mind does strange things when real money is on the line (behaviour finance). Its the reason why that part of trading (the mental game) can not be taught...it must be learned via experience only.

IMHO; based on Hilmy's trading style (aggressiveness); it is normal to see PNL volatility.
don't forget he turned $5K to $20K in June; that is 300%.
Reviewed my week and made slight adjustments here and there. Biggest thing for me is jumping in front of the "momentum train" too early. Both 7/19 and 7/22 were trend days (late day for 7/19 and strong day for 7/22). I agree, i need to be able to react quicker to what the chart is showing rather waiting on the stops to hit.
On a side topic, I AM A GAMER. Grew up on games and still play it now even in my mid 30s. Everything from the classic D/D RPGs/RTs, to sim games, to FPS (although i've started to move away from this genre the last couple of years). I used to stream my games online too
Currently playing PoE 2 Deadfire, cities ckylines, and FIFA.

Streaming is easy. I've used xsplit and obs broadcast. I prefer obs cause it's more intuitive to me. And yes you can manipulate the windows a bit to hide sensitive info. This is why i like using sierra for streaming show/tell cause no personal information on the chart.
but if you prefer the recording route, i'd suggest using Ispring cam. You can start/stop the video (good for those long trades that take time to hit). Then you can upload to youtube or wherever on video sharing sites. I just prefer streaming cause i have everything set up as far as my account/setings goes and just turn on the software and trade. Takes me 1 minute to set up.
