Quote from BradKrom:

Yeah. What did you end up doing out of school/ how did you get involved with trading?

Brad

cool.

i got a job for financial restrcuting under the CFO of a firm. then i got a financial engineering degree because i always loved the markets (i was interested in the markets all through wharton. i traded all throughout college with a group of my friends and a guy even bought a full subscription to bloomberg for his dorm room in High rise north :D ) got to love those high rises with free T-1.

then after that i got a job in a start up hf and then now i am doing my mba at u of c.

that is actually what i have been doing ( the weekend program) i have 1 quarter left...

nice! maybe i see you in gleacher? i'm going to finish june 06. and i actualyl misread your original post. did you sign up in time to take part in the full time recruiting? if not, don't underestimate the value of the u of c mba. i know of an acquantence that has a ph.d from UIC and i find that my fiance, mba class 04, knows more than the ph.d.

thats funny.
remember NYU has a separate program for quants

i'm sorry to sound arrogant, but its the truth. you can't compare second or third tier schools with first tier ones. simply not the same.

as i said in an earlier post, i find that my fiance, class of 04 u of c mba grad knows more quant than a UIC ph.d in stats. makes me wonder what they study.

I am not a student so what is the fee for professionals?

For my company they charge $2000 per user/per year.

It has great graphics and can be integrated C++.

These software companies are becoming more greedy. Intex will charge 1 million for about 30 user per year.
