It seems someone legally took Henry clients' money. Maybe it was an inside job.

as long as there are market orders, the markets will never be random. isn't that what hfts use to find an edge?try to front run big orders and trigger stops?

I believe every system has its day in the sun.I recall a 2004 interview of Richard Dennis ....he sounded totally defeated...the statement by Livermore that no one can beat the market seems true.

John Henry used the same model of using other peoples money when he moved away from trading. The Boston Globe, Redsoxx and Liverpool Football club are all owned by investor groups he led. Kobe Bryant was a client of Fenway sports group and owned 2% of Liverpool Football club.
