Geez, and when we have a fatality in CO due to some bozo high on weed you liberals will say "well we didn't expect that to happen". And I know how wasted one can get just on weed. And the weed of today is a lot more potent than back in the 70's or 80's.

As far as your last statement .. it has nothing to do with being racist ... it has to do with not wanting support people here illegally. That's really not that difficult to understand, at least with people paying taxes.

And Thou shalt not kill is also a commandment ... ever know anyone who overdosed? I did .. and they were killed and it was no different than if they were shot or stabbed to death.

You may or may not know but I work (volunteer) with high poverty kids; mostly black but an ever increasing number of Hispanics (who are mostly well behaved and hard working). I give equal attention to any kid .. black, white, Hispanic ... since the kids are here legally most of the time I want to help them be successful in life. And not to be racist but I see a much higher incidence of 2 parent households with Hispanics versus the black community. So I think the Hispanic have a better chance of success in the long term due to a stronger family unit.

again, I apologize, as far as two parent households, I played in a band where I was the only white member, and all the men had wives or girlfriends on welfare. The men were not allowed to visit their children too often or the wife would lose her benefits. I saw a whole generation of black families destroyed by that evil social program.

Sounds like you were the minority (in your school or band)?

And my point on 2 parent households is that there's a lot more stability possible in such instances. And the sad statistic that almost 75% of black kids have no male (father) in the home helps send them down the road towards a life that replicates that of their parent(s). But when you look at cases of people like Herman Cain (both parents present) or Ben Carson (raised by his mother) you see households where there was encouragement to work hard and succeed. I think many today don't hold the same values and just wander through life aimlessly which is why I try to stress so strongly to kids that education is their 'ticket' out of the projects.
