Jobless Americans Are The 'Most Comfortable' In 7 Years

While we already know that "work is punished" in America, with almost 20% of Americans' disposable personal income made up of US government transfer payments (up from just 5% 60 years ago), it is perhaps no surprise that Bloomberg's Comfort Index shows the jobless in America haven't been this comfortable since 2007...

Well i guess the argument from the left would be that being jobless should not really be uncomfortable, you should be able to slide into the depths of depravity like a good pair of jeans. :D

If people were uncomfortable in their joblessness, perhaps they'd GET A FARKIN' JOB!

It's bad for the country to have such a huge parasite class.

It's also unfair for the 50% of citizens who are makers to be forced to pay for the "life of comfort" for ne-er-do-wells.

Politically, however, it's an easy sell (though an immoral one) to advocate wealth transfer in exchange for votes.
 
Hard to believe but it wasn't all that long ago that folks were flat out ashamed to be on the dole. In 1983, Eddie Murphy did a TV special called Delirious. In it, he imitates a bunch of kids teasing another kid about his daddy being on welfare.

Nowadays, the libtards have foisted a cultural acceptance of "gibsmedat" - handouts from the government - on us all. It has gotten to the point that the chimps get angry when they do not get "enough" stuff, when it used to be a humble sort of gratitude for assistance.

First, we've shown you how illegals get benefits they're not entitled to. Even if you don't believe it, that doesn't make the evidence provided any less true. Second, an application isn't vetted by any e verify. An application is a piece of paper submitted with no verification.
