Jobless Americans Are The 'Most Comfortable' In 7 Years

yes, many companies in the southwest rely on illegals to survive. But large companies like Walmart either use it voluntarily or because the state where they are domiciled requires it. I'm not sure if Arkansas (where Walmart is domiciled) is a mandatory state or they just do it voluntarily.

But yes, many business owners especially in the southwest put a lot of pressure on their local governments to defeat e verify, claiming it would ruin their business.

That's not what i meant. I meant a private investigator put obama's ssn into everify and it failed. The apparatus to protect obama has probably got it scrubbed by now, but when it was first run he failed the test.

oh, ok, so I guess e verify is not as reliable as I thought. Well, there you go, there is always somebody clever enough to scam the system. Does that mean Obamacare is illegal?

What makes you think it's not reliable? Because the ssn that was issued to someone in Conn didn't pass when it was associated with Obama?

well, if e verify is reliable, how did he get the job? I'm not sure who the president's employer is, but he should be fined. What a shame, there was probably a legal citizen that needed that job.

Feel free to point out the flaw anything we've said, instead of just saying "you guys don't understand anything." over and over.

But Db doesn't understand things ... he blows hot air and has his cut & pastes and always wants the last word.

if your credit card was hacked, and the perpetrator was an illegal alien, would you claim credit card fraud is an illegal alien problem?

No, but I would certainly claim that illegals partake in credit card fraud - which is yet one more problem with illegal aliens.

and as for the libertarian position on immigration, time, energy and money would be much better spent trying to figure out how to open the border. If that involves reforming or eliminating social programs so be it.

It's already open. Perhaps you haven't been following the news lately.

that's the point, it's already open illegally, just like people are already taking drugs illegally. The goal is to eliminate all illegal aliens. Illegal aliens work under the table, pay no taxes, yet use our schools and ER rooms. They put downward pressure on American wages and in some cases increase American unemployment.

Just like drugs, you can keep making them illegal even though it does nothing to curb the use, or you can make them legal which could start paying taxes or at least keeps people out of taxpayer jails.

The best way to get rid of illegal aliens is to make them legal.

And that is why I say instead of building yet another fence, we should start working on how to open the border.

This raises a question... which costs the US economy more every year, the use of illegal drugs, or the presence of illegals?

well, it's not costing Colorado much now that it is legal. And my guess is making illegals as legal as pot in Colorado would have the same effect.

the problem is, with drugs you are dealing with a bunch of puritans who have never gotten high

and with illegals you are dealing with a bunch of racists who fear anybody that doesn't look like Mommy

The best way to get rid of illegal aliens is to make them legal.

So the best way to cure selling of heroin is to make it legal?

The best way to cure bank robbery is to make it legal?

And I guess the best way to cure murder is to make it legal?

Maybe just legalize everything that is currently illegal?
