I agree with you. I am an immigrant myself. Came from Cuba at 17, finished high school, went to college, now working on my MBA and so far I have an educational debt of 100,000.
But as a US citizen now it does bother me the amount of people coming in. I know this is not my country but this is my home and it will be my child's country and I wonder???? WHAT kind of country will my kids be living in???
You live in a screwed up state if your insurance is $120 a month for just liability and you are 24 years old. Maybe you are overpaying for it too. $3000 in repairs ? What kind of vehicle ? Get yourself a honda or toyota and you won't spend near that.

Tell me which university is "usually" giving free degrees to foreigners? Foreigners pay out of state or higher for public university and the same price for private colleges. If they get assistantships, then they are earning their tuition, NOT getting it free.
Only issue is that there seem to be a limitless supply and the numbers keep going up.
It is very limited. And not easy to get.
Also, you don't see the process happening in reverse, at least not significantly. How many Texans are moving to Beijing in pursuit of a better life?

Speak with a call center in the last 5 minutes? The second you hear an Indian accent, you know that anything above the minimal won't get done properly.
As for higher up work, just do some research on the street. It's not cheaper if you want the same quality. The indian centers consistently mess up work and cannot be trusted with anything even slightly complex. They take about double the manhours, sometimes more, to do the same work. Also, it has to be checked on-site in US, so you still need a skeleton crew here. In India, turnover is high for skilled staff, as the ones who have skills also have the brains to constantly move up & demand higher pay. For majority of the work, there is always a search for cheaper labor because wage growth in India is significant.
Offshoring looks great on paper, but in reality, it does not work most of the time. Sorry, your Indian comrades are not the geniuses you think they, some of them are borderline retarded. But a few execs are getting paid nice bonuses to create phantom savings, so the practice is here to stay.
I guess you made a good point. However, lets even assume all these people from all countries are like Einstein, I still believe these practices are wrong.

You actually believe a generic quote on a website trying to sell you something rather than the actual statement from a current customer? Did you read the disclaimer? Seriously you need help. Do you really think a major insurance company would sell the exact same plan to 2 different people and charge one person double? I have a life and health insurance license. I donât know if itâs illegal to have different rates being offered by different agents, but it is not the norm. The company does the underwriting and determines the final premium. It usually does not matter whether you go directly to the company or a broker. So blab all you want, but youâre wrong.
