Quote from riskfreetrading:
That is not the point, and neither do I want to bow to an idol, nor should anyone.
What you raise is another point, and should be crossed or no crossed when we get to it.
I know that it is the important point to you. While you suggestions are thoughtful, this does not necessarily make them correct. You still face the challenge of correctness that all texts/theories face. In other words, what is the proof that you are correct in your view on addressing the questions related to god.
Suppose I were to grant you that 100% of the Quran contains flawless scientific facts. And you call this a "witness", testifying of the trustability of the entire book as the gOd's truth, based on its scientific accuracy.
Do I not get your point?
I'm saying this is the oldest trick in the book. The Hebrew idol has book-tricks too. These tricks cast a spell over the mind of the reader like magic. It is not called magic. It is called "science" or, "prophecy". Whatever it takes to impress the reader with the perception that the book is authoritative.
The purpose of the trick is to lubricate the way for you to bow down and get gOd's point. What is gOd's point? You are subject, and it is master. Obey or pay. Believe or be heaved. I'm saying this is idolatry. I'm saying that the gOd of time, prophecy, events, circumstances, and science is an idol that needs my faith to fair well over its Heaven-hating hell.
Where do the words lead? Six feet under...every time. And that's all that matters after all the promises and threats are hallowed and swallowed. The net effect is perpetual confusion and unending conflict.
In Heaven, there is no time, no prophecy, no events, no circumstances, and no science. Heaven is being what you are, and only what you are. You will never know what you are while you bow down as part of a heirarchy. In Heaven, there is only equality, and all is shared with all...all power, all love, all glory, all truth, all knowledge.
Know thy Self.
Peace,
Christ!
