Jeff Sessions allegedly moving toward independent counsel for Hillary

Yeh, I guess so or not.

That is what the report is anyway. He has tasked the DOJ to do a review of the issues for the purpose of appointing a special counsel.

Problem is, most of us have gone flat on Sessions. He is low energy, and doesn't seem to want to go out on the hunt. It's more like he just wants to appease his critics. Someone with an attitude like that can easily structure something real namby pamby that is not a real investigation but just sort of deals with things a little.

We will see. Ordinarily I would be psyched over the idea but the mere mention of Jeff Sessions looking into it leaves me flaccid.

On the other hand if one or more special counsels are appointed, the nature of the investigation becomes an extension of their style and goals- not Sessions. Ideally he would appoint someone who likes the sight of blood. He is a weird one. I don't get my hopes up much.

Okay, I will spare y'all a replay of what I said yesterday, other than to just say that Sessions testified at length today and - as discussed- he is as worthless as tits on a nun.

He said that his top deputies and assistants are looking at whether there is a need to have a special prosecutor for Clinton and company. Congressman Biggs then pointed out that his top assistants and top FBI -mc cabe and Rosenthal in particular- had possible conflicts of interests so how the hell can they decide. Whereupon Sessions said that if he was sure that if there were problems with conflict of interest then the attorneys in the AG's office would point that out.

He is low energy and flaccid.
 
He has been the biggest single disappointment of Trump's first year. Trump is not blind, he can see it. He just needs a graceful way to jettison him. This Moore thing may just be it.

Have you considered that some of the things you guys expect him to do is just bat schit crazy?

He also shot some long running theories about fisa warrants that were going nowhere to begin with.
 
yeah... its wrong to expect your attorney general to investigate why the fbi did no alert criminal activities and bribery related to the sale of nuclear assets to russia.

have you considered that you are partisan to the point of not thinking?
