Jay Carney decorates his kitchen with Soviet propaganda posters

I had wished I had purchased that stuff when I traveled through Europe in the late 80s... It was so cheap... I just did not want to carry it.

But, the Press Secretary for the President of the United States should not have that stuff up in view in his home.... wait til he gets a different job.

The picture itself is soviet style propaganda, because of the soviet style posters behind mountains of food and a happy family. In all actuality, isn't this the kind of family the left wing voters are taught to despise?

It's a free country (still). Carney can have whatever the hell he wants up in his house. Neither you nor anyone else has the right to tell him what he can have.

Now that being said, if the guy had brains, he'd have removed that stuff prior to the pictures being taken.

Actually, he wants it seen. It's his way of promoting the failed ideology. You can love soviet style big gov and look at the life it will provide you.

I did no really see the whole point of the photo being one big piece of propaganda because its not any different than what I see every day in north county san diego.
I thought he was just imitating the holiday photo of the banker.... I think it was Dimon shot with his family... the tennis balls in the air one.

but you could also be right... instead of uncle Sam wanting you... the big red govt oppresive soviet guy with the finger (in the background) wants you.

perhaps it was a provocative piece of art I guess. I will re evaluate my thoughts.
 
I was going after the ideals revealed by the decorating.
Our elected officials and their press secretary should not be promoting Soviet like oppression or govt. Yet the govt is getting bigger and attempting to strip our liberties away... day be day. law by law, executive order by executive order.
