How well does it work and anyone quantified their trading results after using neuro programmer?

Alpha

The disclaimer

I am not affiliated with NP3 in any way..., shape..., or form - simply an end user - and I paid full price for mine

These next statements are my opinion and experience only

..................................................

It provides the ability to play music / background..., isochronic beats (beta through delta) and a subliminal message (audible) simultaneously

Think brain entrainment

It also supports glasses (visual/ strobe) entrainment - I don't use this feature

===================

How would I quantify it

At one point my brain was very restless - could't sleep.., couldn't hold a thought for any length of time..., couldn't focus..., couldn't hold a conservation (kept zoning out) - my Better Half can attest to this

At one point my brain was way overactive when trading (and I mean way overactive)

This is all gone

I can switch gears in my head at will
I can focus for as long at it takes
Relaxing - no problem
Holding a thought for more than a few seconds - no problem
Having / keeping a quiet mind - trading or not - no problem
Getting / remaining detached - no problem

I also use NP3 while trading..., to listen to my affirmations

As a test - I once went literally from wide awake - to dead asleep - back to wide awake - in the span of 30 min.

I've slept with my headphones many times over

I am a believer..., and a practitioner

Create what you want to listen to - copy it over to a digital recorder.., use bose noise canceling headphones - it works - at least for me

Online piracy must be way up there for you to justify your payment :p

On a serious note, all this is very intriguing and catches my attention. I am working with a couple of other tools as of now and at some point, I am assuming, it's benefits may plateau. I would love to explore this at that point.

Just in case you are interested in what I use, the following 2 things have helped me immensely:

i) Isolation tank therapy: For me, this makes my mind go on steroids for extended periods of time. It allows "deep" thinking for extended periods and is highly beneficial for trading innovation as well as solution finding.

"The last twenty minutes often end with a transition from beta or alpha brainwaves to theta, which typically occurs briefly before sleep and again at waking. In a float tank, the theta state can last indefinitely without the subject losing consciousness. Many use the extended theta state as a tool for enhanced creativity and problem solving or for super learning. The more often the tank is used the longer the theta period becomes."

ii) Mind isolation: I use this mainly to"rest" or rejuvenate the mind by silencing it and having the ability to take control. It is also highly beneficial in maintain "zen" when/if all hell breaks loose!.

This is not for everyone and also does note resonate with everyone. However, if and when it does, it posses very high benefits to an individual.

Here is a link that helps with mind isolation techniques. It's meant to be a slow read as after every short while, pondering through it is highly encouraged.

@Redneck if you come down to Orlando at some point, let me know. I'll guide you to an good isolation center (since there aren't many around).

Absolutely agree

I will - Thank You

We're talking about a trip to Pensacola in the not too distant future - Orlando would be just a short hop, skip and jump away

Thanks Alpha

If I throw out Monday it was a good week.

If only.

Lessons this week.

Re-learned about not trading tired.

Monday was tired/mental breakdown.

Monday coming on quick..., get rested and prepped J

There is no need..., next Friday EOD..., to be saying "if only"

So long as we make it so - right here..., right now - with every single day..., and every single trade

:)

Being a relatively new concept, your discovery is commanding (but I'm not surprised)

Thank You for this

Always a pleasure RN.

I look forward to it.

@jas_in_hbca my apologies for having a drifted convo away on your thread. It's all yours. Happy trading to you this week

I got in a little later than usual just to be sure I was properly rested. So focus was good today.

Choppy day. I believe it was the narrowest range this year. Trades were not getting much follow through. Because of that I exited my last trade early and took +9. Holding another 10 minutes would have got my target. Appeared overnight low was holding. So technically a violation of my plan but given the conditions I'm OK with it. Also I know part of my progress is due to me being a little (maybe a lot) more forgiving of my mistakes. Feeding off mistakes and frustration is not at all helpful. There are better motivators. Encouraging positive trading habits and looking at the results possible if following the plan work better for me. But I am striving for stricter consistency and again seeing the potential results does reinforce what I should be doing.

Overall very happy with my patience. 5 trades +2 ticks today.

oh, and just because I'm trying to be kinder to myself doesn't mean RN or anybody else needs to be. A slap upside the head and a kick in the butt from outside sources helps me too. And I always appreciate the good intentions. :)

Incredibly insightful..., and incredibly mature (emotionally speaking) J

Being strict on our self..., then being an unforgiving ass about it when we screw up - is unsustainable (and borders on masochism imo)

Being strict on our self - then being loving..., forgiving..., supportive when we screw up - is what a best friend does

We always try harder..., and strive for better - for our fiend(s)

Trading will / does change a feller :)

Good Job today J ;)
