Jared Kushner a 'focus' in Russia probe

If she got 3 million more votes, how can you say the Comey letter cost her the election?
She lost states she should have won, but didn't because she ran a campaign with no message.
"Stronger Together"? WTF does that MEAN?
Say what you want about Trump, his message was crystal clear. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. And it obviously resonated with the voters that mattered.

Agree. Apparently, the Russians somehow got her 3 million more votes, but all in the wrong states. Possibly Trump could actually hire a couple of Russians in 2020 to take over from good old Kelly Anne Conway.

Because she would have got more if it wasn't for the Comey letter, the 1% drop in votes because of the Comey letter cost her crucial 80000 votes that swung the election to Trump

As for the campaigns, Trump obviously had no problems lying and promising the sky just like Obama in 2008, that's not a message problem, the average voter likes to be promised the sky and then when nothing happens, they turn on their dear leaders as you can already see the swings in deep red districts.

Just bad logic as usual, she would have got more without the Comey letter and without the 1000+ Russian trolls spreading fake news.

Сделай Россию отличной снова

Presumably, his original certificate would say Barack Obama. But we know he was called Barry Soetoro in Indonesia, taking the name of his mother's then liaison, if not new husband.

No he wasn't, when was his BC changed in Indonesia? You are just being disingenuous now.

So to answer your question, why would he change his name from Barack Obama, to Barry Soetoro, back to Barack Obama again?

Citation needed when his BC name was changed

Doesn't make sense, especially as Barack has never acknowledged a name change.

If it was Barack originally, then it was changed twice. Otherwise, once.

Of course, Barry could have been a nickname, and Soetoro could have been a courtesy to his mother's liaison, or possibly husband in law.

But there is evidence Barry was more than a nickname.

First provide the citation that his BC name was changed.

Just a reminder, the effort to pin some, ANY Russian connection on Trump, goes way beyond the initial charge, that the Russian's hacked the U.S. elections. This is a completely new charge, a completely other issue. We are now being told the Russian's hacked the election, AND are in a position to blackmail the U.S. president, AND are probably blackmailing the U.S. president.

You are watching way too much Colbert at night.

Jared Kushner Reportedly Discussed Setting Up Secret Communication Channel With Moscow

Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump’s adviser and son-in-law, reportedly discussed opening a secret communication channel between the administration’s transition team and the Russian government, The Washington Post reported Friday.

According to the report, Kushner discussed that possibility with Russia’s ambassador to the U.S., Sergey Kislyak, in December, before Trump’s inauguration. Specifically, Kushner reportedly asked about using Russia’s diplomatic facilities to secure the channel to avoid being monitored.

That suggestion surprised Kislyak, who is widely believed to be involved with Russia’s spying operations, according to the Post:

Kislyak reportedly was taken aback by the suggestion of allowing an American to use Russian communications gear at its embassy or consulate — a proposal that would have carried security risks for Moscow as well as the Trump team.

Former national security adviser Michael Flynn, who was fired in February after he discussed U.S. sanctions against Russia with Kislyak and then lied about it, also attended the meeting, as was reported in March.

The White House didn’t immediately return a request for comment on the Post’s report.

Report: Russian Billionaire Linked To Manafort Seeks Immunity To Testify
Oleg Deripaska, who had Trump’s former campaign manager on a $10 million annual contract, is apparently ready to sing.

A Russian oligarch who secretly employed Donald Trump’s campaign manager, Paul Manafort, offered to testify before congressional committees investigating Russia’s meddling in the U.S. election, but only if he’s granted immunity from prosecution, The New York Times reported Friday.

Lawmakers have so far turned down the demands of aluminum billionaire Oleg Deripaska, lest an immunity deal compromise criminal investigations into whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to influence the election, according to the Times. Manafort is said to be a key figure in the FBI’s investigation.

Deripaska and Manafort worked together on an offshore fund in 2007 that quickly folded. But Deripaska also provided a $10 million annual contract to Manafort beginning in 2006 to promote Russian interests abroad, The Associated Press reported in March. During the time of the contract, Manafort was working as a campaign consultant to candidates in the Ukraine backed by the Kremlin.

Manafort was forced out as campaign chairman shortly after the Republican National Convention last year, when AP revealed he had helped a Ukrainian political party linked to Russia secretly funnel millions of dollars to two Washington lobbying firms from 2010 to 2014.

Last month, Manafort was to register with the U.S. Department of Justice as a foreign agent, as is required for someone on the payroll of a foreign interest.

The FBI also is reportedly investigating activities of Trump’s ousted National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, former campaign advisers Carter Page and Roger Stone, and top White House aide and Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner.

Deripaska, who has close ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin, traveled several times to the U.S. from 2011 to 2014 on a diplomatic passport, according to the Times. He was unable to obtain regular business visas for travel to the U.S. because of suspicions by American officials that he was linked to the Russian mob — which Deripaska has denied.

There was no indication that the FBI has sought to question Deripaska for its investigation, the Times reported.

The main investigation has always been that into Trumps financial transactions involving Russians. I pointed this out weeks ago, well before anyone else in these forums. Trump is being blackmailed by the Russians and it is over financial transactions illegal under U.S. law. The exact nature of these transactions is yet to be disclosed, but the Russians know what it is. They may have even intentionally entrapped Trump. In any case he is in deep trouble. This is obvious. What took me by surprise was the apparent depth of Kushner's involvement!

The fact that you think you know where he was born makes you a birther. You don't know.

A lot of politics is fought over what people think they know, and say they know, versus reality.
