James Comey’s Latest Statement Is An Indictment Of Comey, Not Trump

This does not change that the entire Comey hearing is a whole lot of hot air which provided no evidence of wrong doing by the Trump administration, and only provided evidence of wrong doing by Lynch and Comey himself. The reality is that this will fade to nothing by next week and is a total loss by Democrats -- despite the headlines in left-wing media mouthpieces attempting to claim this is the end-of-the-world for the Trump administration in a twisted form of reality.

The only reason the entire Comey testimony situation will not fade to the annuals of history by next week is that the Trump administration keeps it alive (probably foolishly) because Trump tends to not let things go (another way of saying Trump is vindictive). Having Sessions file charges against Comey for leaking is an example of this.

Nobody is willing to answer a simple question

If Lynch ASKING Comey to change language is obstruction/wrongdoing

Why isn't Trump ASKING Comey to drop an investigation not obstruction/wrongdoing

We are just going by what Comey says, and I believe it was the truth.

No disagreement there

“Today certainly advanced the ball on the seriousness of this investigation and the breadth of its scope,” Napolitano said. “If you look…at the big picture…you get a very, very credible and compelling argument that the President of the United States has not been truthful with the American people; and ordered the director of the FBI to shut down an investigation.”

Yes, the wording change is a complete obstruction of justice. An "investigation" is a formal investigation. A "matter" means it is not a formal investigation meaning the investigation has been dropped. Lynch was telling Comey to stop the investigation.

OK fine, let Trump's DOJ charge and prosecute Lynch for obstruction, I don't care at all - but you didn't answer the second part - if changing language is obstruction then changing FBI directors while asking him to end an investigation isn't?
