I must object most strenuously to scurrilous personal attacks on Jack. Back when I gave a shit, every time he revealed something personal about himself, I would attempt to verify it. Never did I catch him in a lie where there was public information. Teensie exaggerations, yes. He is in fact a significant published author, promoted sound ecological practices, was active in supporting his local cultural community, and was indeed a trained first responder. So stick to critiqueing the methods themselves lest you tarnish yourself. Oh, and shame on all of you for posting instead of trading!

I do trade every single day. I am a profitable automated trader as I also work full time as a software engineer. Now, as far as Jack is concerned, I am not (and have not said) that he is a terrible person. Megalomaniac---yes. Liar---yes. Schizophrenic-yes. BS Artist--(I haven't said that yet, but I am now).....
Who (in their RIGHT mind) says that they've refused 11 digit offers? But, jack says so. He said so earlier in this thread. Come on Arthur. Are you seriously going to tell me that Jack Hershey has been offered more money than the top paid hedge fund manager in United States history? I'm not saying this because it's a lot of money, I'm saying it because it's a blatant LIE. It's a purposeful exaggeration to rein people in..... To attract attention to himself. Certainly not a TEENSIE exaggeration.
I have looked and I have found nothing as you suggest. Certainly not a significant published author. However, with that said, can you point me to several of his notorious works? How about three of them? Two? One? Surely they must all be on www.amazon.com. Or perhaps these are all arcane books, only to be found in University class rooms of times gone by? LOL........
Also, what about his support of his local cultural community? Any links there (although this really doesn't say very much anyway)? Promoting sound ecological practices... Uh.... OK......
As far as being a trained first responder. Awesome. I'm very happy and glad for him. But, with all of that said, where are the vast monetary pledges and contributions that he has made? Certainly those would show up in many, many places (platinum sponsor here---gold sponsor there and the list should go on and on and on). I suggest you do a quick search on his equals (Warren Buffet, Jim Simmons, etc)..... At least the list should go on and on and on if one is able to treat the market as an ATM (and if ONE so clearly STATES that he/she is solving problems and giving back so, so much to his/her local community). In my opinion, this all smells very, very must like (what's the right word here)......... Well, you get my point.

Oh, please. 11-digit money offered to him? 3-6x H-L as he pleases? > 1MM+ trading day? Need I post more? These are not slight exaggerations. Any time someone makes claims this bold they should be prepared for scrutiny or to offer some form of proof. If you can't handle the pressure then simply don't make the claims. Of course there never is any proof is there? Furthermore, this kind of success leaves trails and as others have posted in here, when you dig, you find no such trail for the man.

By the way, you do realize that if he can pull 3x the H-L in the ES at will, that this would be (given current market conditions) the equivalent to making ~ $390,000 annually on a $1,500 account. This of course assumes $500 intraday margins and 200 trading days per year. That's approximately a 25,900% annual gain. Oh, and that is on a single contract with no compounding or any form of money management. Linear thinking works very neatly at times.

Jason, you may call me Art. All my friends do. I cannot dispute with you everything you say about Jack, as, unlike many other lonely purposeless posters here, I do not dote on his every word. But you make it clear that you don't even know what the fuck Jack's name is, or you would have found him. So due your do diligence. Congratulations on becoming an automated trader. That is not an easy thing to do. I doubt that I will ever fully automate my own stuff. System trading would not be any fun at all without the ability to second-guess it in real time.
And to Mr. Game, I can post because I system trade, and I am done for the day. I don't generally trade for afternoon crumbs. I am not saying that everything Jack says is true, only that what you CAN out find about him is sort of true. Just because you cannot find his breadcrumb trail proves nothing. He may be an anonymous benefactor. Many well-to-do folks don't want the nkhoi-polloi knocking on their doors. Or kicking them in at midnight carrying a shotgun. When you have followed Jack as long as some of us (ten years), you get a better sense of who he is and what he actually believes about trading himself. He is in fact a first rate humorist who loves to reel in the credulous.
