I've signed up with Al Brook's Price Action course

Would it be too much for you if I were to add that in addition to the $80.46 price target on AMD that I expect it to trade at least to that price between 10:41 AM and 12:21 PM today, Friday July 31, 2020 if not before?

Important to consider along with this that one cannot predict the future of market behavior. But one can calculate and assign probabilities.
On the contrary. I would expect nothing less.

When it comes to day trading with price action, I've found:
  • Using the prior day's chart is key: OHLC, daily range, depth of cups, pd open range breakout height, gap action etc; all is essential to design current day's plan
  • Price action patterns in market itself, S&P moves along with TRIN and VIX trends are important
  • I avoid buying right under pd high and whole numbers. I also avoid buying breakouts at obvious areas, to avoid false breakout traps

There was another long term member of ET, Visaria, who made a similar thread also having bought the course from Al Brooks. I'm not sure what the conclusion of it all was.

But it's not uncommon with enthusiastic starry eyed neophytes following this or that guru who eventually stop posting. Either they succeeded beyond their wildest dreams and decided to stop posting on ET or maybe their results fell short of their expectations.

Visaria was an experienced trader from what I gather, though. Maybe he just got tired of ET or maybe he even registered with a new nick (like it seems so many do here).

That was about 5 years ago:
I intend to study this course intently and see if there is anything that will enhance my trading. If not, I will request a full refund ($249). There are 36 hours of videos to watch. I'll make notes on each video with a critical eye. I intend to watch 3 to 4 hours a day. I will post my satisfaction or otherwise here.
Only 36 hours of videos? I hear it's now over 98 hours.
Trading is simple, but it sure isn't easy.
Yeah, Brooks saw to that. :D

Anyway, I've disrupted this thread enough. Time to take my leave.

Alternately, waiting for the pullback to the 38.2 provided a swing entry with an initial stop over the swing for initial risk of 6 1/2 points, actual risk turned out to be 1 point. The entry easily exceeded the measured move. The subsequent 50% pull back for an 11:35 entry hit the first target at 2 tick front run of the low and then for another at the 23.6 extension annotated with the red diamonds. I was too tired to hang in there in the afternoon but there was a solid Higher Low Major Trend Reversal of the failed attempt at a new low as indicated by the green arrow. That trade yielded from modest targets to the moon depending on how the trade was managed as it never took out a major swing low.
