Same. Made a killing in overnight on ES.That's just one of the reasons why I enjoy Trading Futures.
And you're absolutely correct, money never sleeps.

its just that times like this are rare...when you can basically take any short or put position and be guaranteed to profit. Reminds me of this quote by Jim Rogers:
“I just wait until there is money lying in the corner, and all I have to do is go over there and pick it up.I do nothing in the meantime.”
Not sure how guys who went short at the opening today are feeling now.its just that times like this are rare...when you can basically take any short or put position and be guaranteed to profit. Reminds me of this quote by Jim Rogers:

It depends of your meaning of 'the opening'.Not sure who you are referencing but the opening, like they say, is amateur hour.
I was speaking rhetorically because my opening is 600pm EDT so I am positioned (if there is a position to be taken at all) long before 930am EDT.It depends of your meaning of 'the opening'.
I used to work at a place where the opening 'period' was from 9h30 to 9h45.
If you think that the opening is, like they say, amateur hour, then it's an additional reason to trade during that time....
You know, 'amateur' is what all the pros are looking for. It's the basis of the PFOF. Paying for 'amateur' flow because there is more money to make out of it.
