Kamala was a terrible VP pick after her poor showing in the dem primaries. As I said on the very day Biden chose her as VP, she would/did fail to attract Black/minority voters in the way dems wanted.
Maybe the dems won't abandon Biden at all. The might be rooting for Biden to stick around in the same way they were invested in RBG. The dems have to know that if they win, it is because of Biden and not Kamala. Keeping Biden alive to get to a second term is more promising than having KKKamala fall flat with minorities for a second time without the backing of Biden for round 2.
