The biggest reason Cosbys conviction was overturned was because in 2005 The Republican Castor gave him an immunity type deal that would make it nearly impossible to convict him again on the charges he was convicted of,so the republican Castor did fuck up as I stated.

No, the biggest reason, the only reason he is being freed is because he, a black man, didn't get a trial where the prosecution followed the law. There was also a lack of evidence, reliable evidence that would hold up in the criminal case.
The women should have got together and sued his ass into oblivion. Civil case would have been much easier to win, especially with alleged crimes committed so many years ago.

Say what you will of Bill Cosby, one thing is sure, they denied him due process. Extreme liberal idiots encouraged the gold digging scum within their ranks to file charges left and right. Just like they do to Republicans. Now, if the the FBI and DOJ were doing their jobs, those filing bogus claims of rape and sexual assault, need to all be charged and locked up in jail. #BelieveAllWomen strikes out again. Despite their best efforts that pesky due process thing gets in the way quite often. Maybe if they spent less time crying on talk shows and more time building a case you'd get it to stick. Especially if Cosby is the prolific serial rapist he's accused of being.

Maybe we can get Pelosi and Kamala to overturn it? Due process I mean, not Cosby's case. It seems the dems really aren't a fan of the right to fair trial anyway.

The media and various groups are howling at the injustice of it all, but ya know, realistically. the women got a fantastic outcome. Yeh, I get the bit about how it does not undo the sexual assaults and all of that, and that is valid, but just in regard to what they were able to squeeze out of the justice system through various contorted moves and luck.

The first prosecutor concluded that he/she could not get a conviction so he (rather unethically or controversially) gave Cosby immunity so that the women could compel testimony on them in their civil suits, which they did and they got big settlements.

The second prosecutor still goes ahead and prosecutes him anyway and - and although it was reversed- he ended out doing time anyway. He got 3-10 years and he did 2 years but probably would have been let out about 4 years anyway do to age, medical conditions imagined and real, whatever.

The women got both civil settlements, and to see him do time and reputational damage. Not a bad outcome for them, really, given the very real possibility that he could have skated totally. The first prosecutor could have gone to trial, and if he remained silent they would not have had the testimony from the civil suit that they used to convict him. Very messy, but it did not all work against them, not by a longshot.
