It's hard hearing friends making profits, and I am losing money.

Sounds like your friends are 'Virtual' friends?

Twitter,Discord,Telegram etc.

Remove the app, don't log in for a month or two.
These fellas are a waste of space.

That's why I only hang out with poor people and unsuccessful gamblers. Although I don't drink, sometimes I go to alcoholics anonymous meetings just to cheer myself up.

First of all, are they consistent? Most people like to talk about their winners more than their losers. If they are consistent, then that sounds like a learning opportunity. Figure out what they are doing right.

LOL/unsuccessful gamblers...…..AA just to cheer myself up could help.
Speaking of ''up'' +not making money in a bull market means selling/trading to much, wrong stock picks.
I did cut a loss on SPYG once this year but since I saw proof of a bottom. sold /cut a loss for something better/tech etfs……………………………………………………………………………………….
I drink plenty;
8 glasses of 8 0Z/per day is the goal.Sometimes miss that /sometimes do better.I dont consume booze anymore;Vicks NYquill maybe 50% alcohol proof but that is medicine for colds/flu.

I literally want to block all their messages, cause it's a hard feeling watching someone you know makes money. Do you guys actually talk about market with friends? It's so sick when someone recommended a stock which you didn't buy, and they actually made money and yourself lose money on other stocks.

Thanks,

So, after all this time to reflect, have you found out how your friends selected these stocks? And why they took the tips they got?

Unless you like losing money - just stop trading for awhile. Your mental state as you describe it sounds an awful lot like someone with a gambling problem.

Compulsive behaviors, chasing bets, and depleting savings are all conditions described by the Mayo Clinic as a gambling problem.

I wish you better health and a good life.
In real life I am kind of a rational person and I dont like gambling since I know the edge are against me, and I tend to do well in poker. but when I am trading, I realized I do act and think like a gambler, its like a devil side of me. any way I can control and fix that?

I think they know some rich dudes who know insider infomation and place bet before news, sometimes they took 20% drawdown and keep holding it till the stock comes back. the guy do well, but he does not disclose the infomation to us all the time, only when he's in the money he would show off, I decided to block him.

If you don't mind, post a chart or two that you use to give us an idea of what you look at while you do the deed. Some do and some don't, ...you use a trading plan? You got kids?
Before, thats why I developed these bad habits, I need on now since this is my last shot in trading.

Are you day trading? What is your trade entry frequency?
I don't daytrade now since I have a fulltime job, maybe 2 3 swing trade per week. I tend to look for homerun trade to try to boost my capital quick, but ended up stopped out for lost most of the time. This is one of my problem I lost so much and was wishhing for a homerun trade. Right now I am thinking to stay away from trading for a while to clear my head since I have gambling problem when I trade. Really want to unlearn that.

...maybe 2 3 swing trade per week...

This is not the market environment to look for a 2-3 day swing trade and expect a profit. Trust me, I know. You'll need to look for multi-week timeframes, and at that point you might as well just invest, to sleep better.
