Iterative Refinement

A few comments on posted charts for today:

- A few charts are missing two channels between 1000 and 1100. Please review guavaman's chart.

- What is with the peak trader charts? The two posted are EXACTLY the same! Are you guys doing your own 'M' or is someone else? Until 'M' is mastered, why are fine tools on the display? They serve no purpose, other than slowing one down, in learning to annotate.

Thanks to guavaman for posting his chart, great job!

Hi guavaman,

Just curious what those annotations on your chart are:

IBV in LM,
IRV in LM, I
RV in retrace,
IV w/similar Volatility

Thank you.

IBV = Increasing Black Volume
IRV = Increasing Red Volume
IV = Increasing Volume
LM = Lateral Movement

After an FTT in this channel, when can one see change:
1. Is it BO on decr. volume on bar 14
2. Is it SYM on bar 15
3. Flaw like volume on bar 15
4. Incr red PRV on bar 16

Hi Romanus,

That is not a channel, it is a tape, and while we did have change (bar 14) it was non-dominant volume and became the PT3 (channel formation). Once that is established it becomes more clear that bar 17 becomes the FTT and we then observe B2B \/ volume as price walks out of that channel.

Hope that helps

Where one can see change often differs from where you see change.

First, you learn to 'see' change.

Second, you learn to 'see' change - faster.

Then, you learn to anticipate the arrival of change.

Good question, but you've asked the wrong person .......

So, when do you see change?

Before, Bar 12 told us.

Bar 12 decreasing volume on the same fractal tells us to expect change. FTT that follows is that change. One goes long on FTT. Price breaks out of channel and then resumes downtrend. At some point after FTT sentiment changed - something had told us to go short again. But what?

How did this break out differ from when the market forms a Point One?
