Iterative Refinement

Part 2

I thought about my action taken while at the gym and realized that I jumped the gun on reversing long.

YM is in a pennant formation. So I should hold off until the YM pennant BO provides a signal as to the new direction.

Thank You Tiki! :)

Just a comment on your statement below:

YM Sym Pennant - Lateral formation on Decreasing Black Volume (change)

Decreasing volume in a lateral is what we expect. So that is not a change signal but rather a Hold signal.

wmcn drill 1-2: Action: HOLD (SHORT)

EDIT: I expected more participation in Tikitrader's drill. There's no shame in being wrong, and if you think you know more you should be happy to pay back Spydertrader and Jack by sharing further your acquired knowledge ...

ES M8 Daily Chart March 31 / 2008

ES daily bar formed a lower low and lower high on increasing volume.
Also an intrabar gaussian shift took place and closed slightly higher than its open.

Price is still inside the dominant down channel.

I appreciate the comments Bi9foot and your review of my work. I would agree that, given the context, hold is the trade here. But I am seeing one element (YM) of data that is changing, or maybe in the jokari sense I should have said (Change is Coming). It is not sufficient enough yet to think change on ES, but it is pointing out that something has changed (from dominant to non-dominant movement), and the signal is flashing to me to pay attention here.

Drill 1.2. Tiki: as I noted on my previous chart, your ES OSB that initiated the lateral (as well as the Gaussian) should be red because it closed lower than previous bar. Just a heads-up in case you want to correct your code.
