Iterative Refinement

For those interested parties :D

wtg callmate and mr. black.

Unfortunately, I'm DOWN 6 points today.

I've been at this for about 2 months or so live trading and have seen zero consistency and zero progress towards consistency.

They say the definition of crazy is to keep doing the same thing and expect a different result. Thats how I'm starting to feel.

My winning days and losing days are split right down the middle 50/50 but the losing days are moderately larger than winners.
Add commission to that and you get the picture.

Problem areas:

-Misidentified FTT's.
-Too early, late on pt 3's.
-Getting whipsawed (stopped out) by flaws.
-"wash trades" getting me out of a good set up, price runs and find it too late to enter.

I know a lot of traders follow this thread and I have only seen a few scattered, cherry picked perhaps, posts of results which leads me to believe

I CANT BE THE ONLY ONE NOT "GETTING IT"

Speak up people if you're in my shoes.

Hopefully we can get on track!

don't know what mr. black does but looks like callmate is doing the samething and expecting the same result. And callmate is def cherry picking the trades.

Suggestion: Pick one of your unsuccessful trades;
post snippets of your annotated ES-5min and YM-2min charts;
describe in detail your decision process when you took that
trade, including when you realized you were wrong and why.
Hopefully others can point some deficiencies in your thought
process.

What level are you trading?
