Iterative Refinement

I actually see those indicator crossovers as dominos that fall after several others, after the optimum trading point, more like confirmation dominos.
...

This is exactly how I see it. Indicators are just another domino. Price and volume are always leading. The moment you want to take the trade based on price, volume and channels one can glance at the other indicators (MACD, stoch) if they would give a signal if price would move in the desired direction. If these are far away from giving a signal and ma20 doesn't look favorable either one could decide not to take the trade.

You've described the following paradigm:

Signal, Confirmation, Action.

Such a paradigm falls in direct conflict with how this methodology works.

Signal, Action, Confirmation.

When one reaches a sufficient data set, one takes immediate and appropriate action. 'Glancing down' at Stochastics and MACD isn't an appropriate action - nor is it immediate.

By definition, if one waits on a derivative of Price to signal at some point After a signal from Price itself, then one trades off lagging information. This isn't a 'domino' you see. It's the same information displayed differently and at a later point in time. This information doesn't reflect the now. Indicators reflect the near past.

No new stocks to add to the Initial Universe (Beginner's method) in five days. Don't want to lower the RS and EPS scores to increase the list.

Anyone have a final universe list using the beginner's method?

Attached, please find my initial sort from Stocktables.com using 80 for both EPS ad RS Rank. Note the inital cull only returns 128 companies. As such, you'll want to drop down EPS and RS Rank to a lower number in order to begin the process with more companies. Try using 70 or 75 for each. After checking for Rank (using Wealth-Lab Developer), I have the following list of Equities.

ARTW CALM CHU CMED DIT EPHC FEED FSTR GHM HL JST MALL MEE OME RICK RIO SVT TKC TRA VIP

Please note, the above (and attached) lists do not cull for Insider and Institutional Owned Shares.
