Iterative Refinement

Quote from callmate:

Here is my P & L for Monday, I enjoy this kind of success almost every day :D

Knowing how very hard you worked at this, knowing all the struggles you overcame, knowing the massive number of drills you reviewed and knowing the thousands of hours you studied over the last several years, allow me to simply say, Congrats on a job extremely well done. You have every reason to be proud of your accomplishments.

Way to go Callmate. Way to go!

Thank you Spyder, I saw the trade in the making but didn't take it. We had an IBGS and a harmonic, all supporting evidence as to what was coming next :D

Why not take a few days and monitor bar by bar, and ask yourself what signal the market provides? Continuation or Change? When you get the signal wrong, note the bar, and during EOD debrief, see what the YM told you during that time. The only rule is this: You cannot make a decision until the end of the bar, but you must make a decision at the end of the bar. Feel free to mentally walk through the decision process as the bar unfolds, but do not mentally (or sim) 'take the trade' until the end of the bar. Feel free to post (with a chart this time) any areas which provide confusion.

Will do as suggested. Thank you.

Now you want the time stamps for my trades? Well, you ain't getting them. :D

If you do enjoy that type of success every day then congrats and good for you.

But your attitude on time stamps stinks. You've asked countless questions in the past and various posters have given their valuable time answering. I'm happy that you've mastered the concepts but am disappointed you're now turning your back on people that did not. Thats not what jack had in mind did he?

All of a sudden you're too high and all mighty to show time stamps.

I'm still not sure what all the hoopla is about showing trades. As if its taboo to talk about entries and exits.

whatever callmate, post your results for 1 week, everyday. You wont.

BTW, I'm speaking for all the people who aren't getting it, need proof, but are afraid to ask.

Yes, thank you. The walk through is of great help to understand the thought process bar by bar.

I'm not afraid to ask, I just don't because I respect everyones right to post what they feel is right for them. Everytime I have asked for help, I have gotten help. While at times it was not the answer I wanted, it was the answer I needed.

Everyone here is helping to help others and better themselves in the process. I don't fully "get it" yet, but every day I know more than the day before, and more and more of the light is becomming visible. And one day soon......................

I am borderline getting it. I know Spyder will say it is binary. I have times when it is crystal clear and other times murky. In the early going of this Journal I was skeptical also and wanted to see proof of trades to validate the system. Througout the Journal there is proof. I am amazed at how much I missed in the early parts of the journal and upon review with the wisdom/experience gained thru trading this framework incorrectly I am beginning to see most of my miss signals.

Your results is totally about your efforts, attitude and psychological makeup. And yes it takes a little leap of faith to believe there is value in this Journal.

I had to add my 2 cents worth after reading the last poster.

Thanks again to Spyder and everyone else who is willing to share there efforts to new parasites like myself.

Hopefully someday I can confidently chime in and offer sound advice.
