Reality check: you have repeated the exact same talking points, charts, graphs, etc, etc on hundreds of threads on one single topic...to the point that the owner of this site has had to intervene and tell you to cease this activity..."Lazy thinking" 101...

How much poorer would we be if we hadn't been a "activist" empire for so long? But I agree, we are not spending enough on investment. I only intended to use the military as the best example of why "tax and spend" is what we expect government to do, so it's a lousy meme.

Its a strawman argument. Is there anybody of any prominence that is advocating zero taxes and zero government spending? Nobody is. The question is the size and degree of spending and the US government is completely out of control on all levels.

Thank you. It's good to know we stay focused on quantity (and quality) of taxing and spending, not the existence of taxing and spending.

And I disagree, the taxation and spending is not out of control. Sure, money is spent on some things I don't like. I take it for granted that's true for other guys, too, just with different programs in mind.
