you mean it is time to raise taxes. Income inequality is code for raising taxes. That's all you know. Your only idea is to tax people more. Your solution to everything is "tax and spend." That's why democrats are called the "tax and spend" party.

If you have any idea, any idea at all, to address income inequality that doesn't involve "tax and spend" I would like to hear it.

The time has not been so ripe in America for this discussion (since the GD)... but it won't happen. Trust me, an old Marxist, I've had my hopes up. No one cares about statistics or ratios, they only know they're unhappy and the reason is "gubmint" or "those people". In an existential sense, there may be no cure nor even anything wrong with that.
