FBI arrest four in alleged plot to bomb Bronx synagogues, shoot down plane

The four African American men, three of whom were said to be jailhouse converts to Islam, also allegedly had what they believed was a working Stinger missile in their car.


Officials said they hoped to shoot down a plane at Stewart Air National Guard Base in Newburgh in Orange County.

Sources said the four men were arrested after a year-long investigation that began when an informant connected to a mosque in Newburg said he knew men who wanted to buy explosives.

FBI agents posing as militants sold them what they thought was 30 pounds of C-4 and a plane-downing Stinger missile.

The men were arrested as they planted fake bombs in front of the Riverdale Temple in the Bronx and under cars parked in front of the synagogue.

They also allegedly planned to blow up a nearby Jewish Community Center.

Come on, the arrested guys are not terrorists. The whole story seems rather to be about FBI trying to discredit someone at Newburg mosque.

If you have an informant you normally do not say the press where the informant is located and what his sex is, do you?

One the plans the dems have on the table is to close Gitmo and move those terrorist into US jails.

If you were an FBI agent, would you tell the press the real truth about when the story really began and risk to lose your informant?

Suppose there are two guys in the mosque who dislike one another. And each of them accuses one another of being an informant of the US authorities. One joined the mosque +1 year ago and the other joined 3 month ago.

One of the two is the real informant. Based on the article you already know who the informant is. For sure it is not the guy who joined the mosque +1 year ago. And for sure it didn't take FBI as much as one year to finish the investigation against 4 mentally retarded persons. Normally it takes a few days / weeks.

That's why I think the story is mainly for brainwashing the Americans. The story may also be about placing an FBI agent within the mosque community.

It has nothing to do with terrorism.
