I'm not sure where moral superiority became an issue. Do we have feel morally superior to defend ourselves? Or to recognize that our enemy is islamist jihad rather than some groups who happen to be muslim?

Let me put it this way. Suppose I am a serial killer. I come upon a man trying to rape a woman. Should I decline to interevene on the ground I am not morally superior?

It became an issue when the claims were made that we don't do what they do. Which is what this thread is about.

ISIS take one person, show their picture of capture to the media, show their name, their history, their video alive and for waiting to die. They are waiting to die. The family are have hope they will not die. The world hope they will not die. Then they kill them to take away hope.
