ISIS and beheadings...

so you don't understand that we are AT WAR with al qaeda and have been for over a decade? You don't know they mass murdered 3000 Americans in one day? You don't know they killed thousands of US soldiers in iraq and afghanistan?

And you don't know that we armed them in the first place?

Are you really equating arming al qaeda prior to 9/11, to arming them now (if it actually happened)?

I'm not equating anything, even if it were possible to do so. I'm just pointing out that we facilitated the attack on the WTC, as well as the Gulf War, so to act as if this sort of thing is something new is disingenuous.

Listen you fucking clown, arming your enemy is treason. This sort of thing is nothing new, ya? go ahead and show me where Reagan, Bush or any President armed someone we were at war with, or just shut the fuck up.

And you're right, you weren't equating the two, you were saying that arming AQ before we were at war with them was "more important" than arming AQ while we are at war with them.. because you're brain dead.

I blame the first President Bush for much of this. He had a female ambassador to Iraq, which was idiotic to anyone who understands the first thing about arabs. She somehow gave Saddam Hussein the idea that invading Kuwait was ok with us. Then, Bush got on his high horse and decided americans should die to get the Emir of Kuwait his throne back. Osama bin Ladin was our creation, yes, but he was kind of like a Terminator robot you lost control of. He was incensed at the idea of western troops in Saudi Arabia, even though Bush made them basically pretend to be muslim. So he hatched the 9/11 plot as payback.

At the end of the day, we would have been better off with saddam in control of Kuwait and strong enough to face down the Iranians and islamists, but Kuwait had a shitload of money invested through banks in London and NYC, so restoring the Emir to his throne was suddenly job one.

The great irony is Bush was forced on Reagan as his VP because Reagan was viewed by the establishment republicans as too extreme. He became our greatest president and Bush became the disaster that kept on giving, as we also got his son.

call it what you will - ISIS, Al Q, NRA, USA, Santa Claus...... you generally cant bomb an idea out of existence.

There is very much a movie mentality about all this, not only among politicians and the various movers and shakers but among "the people" as well. The saber rattlers play with their GI Joe dolls and have no idea of the complexities involved.
