By the way,

You can consider this a good day for system #1 (and for you gamblers we were lucky today :))

Have I re-entered all my executions?....this is the constant question, I ask myself.

Previously, I asked myself ....did I stop out? Did my target hit....?

Yes folks I too was a gambler, once. So I am not any better than you folks who believe that trading is gambling. Make it what you will...

Hello,

Using pen and paper I can accomplish this task. One can also place a dot inside of a circle or what closely resembles a circle without lifting pen from paper. No lines at all connecting the dot to circular area either.

Have a Nice Day!

I can tell you, Electric once thought that he could gamble with markets.

No table limits he said!

He put on the Martingale...

Oh let me tell you. I am not a trader, but anybody reading this thread, I can attest that Martingale strategies are a dead end path, if you use them in a gamblers way to think.

You can Martingale your way to the poor house.

There is a need to think a bit like both...only to the extent that we don't need a "guarntee" to get involved....but in trading, we must develop a decent win/loss ratio via our developed "edges." Much like blackjack or poker (as I've said many times before) vs. putting $$ in a video poker machine and "hoping"....we call that trading equivalent "prayer trading" - (a little play on "pair trading" of course), LOL.

I know your busy Don, but how would I develop or define an "edge" in system#1? There is no edge?

Your posting things that sound good...You speak with hundreds of traders a week, but you will just need to read the thread, when you have the time.

I appreciate your comment. I have posted 2 examples to refer to when I make the statement that trading does not need to be gambling.

Now Don, I am not lecturing you as I know your vast experience far exceeds mine. But, I know, that you know, that we must think outside of the box and do what others do not do, through our advanced tools and/or knowledge.

I am suggesting you read this thread, it will be time well spent, I promise you.
