Is This The End Of Tesla ?

Even the oil I'm gonna use can cause them to deny warranty on the engine so, who cares at the point. Add the Cobb AP, no way they'll take care of anything.

Yeah, you had to go larger on fuel system and turbo to get there. IAG is the way to go, the stage 4 extreme block is built to hold much more than 500 I think, so that should be fine.

My car isn't going to the dealer either, I can do pretty much anything that needs to be done myself all the way down to building a short block, but honestly I'd just buy one from IAG anyway. I just want to keep it somewhat reliable for now, but eventually I'll go all out.

The PPG dogbox is interesting, you can flat foot shift on that, or you're still using the clutch?

Still daily driving it no problems?

Dude, do it!

I don't drive it every day. I put about 5-6K on it. Mostly trips to SF.

No clutch. The sound is nuts, but it's the cost of a Honda Fit. Matching revs on the downshifts is where it takes some time. I won't try to talk you out of it. It's sick AF and you'll go through tires every few months.

Yeah, I just did a 3500-mile Sustina change and it looked like new oil.

LOL... very tempting.

That guy Dave at rallispec knows his stuff. Not too far to get to from me also.

I can't recall which ratios I have, but it's fun. I used to drag in Reno but they'll impound your car until the court date. Just listening to it in 2nd at 50mph is worth the price.

Wife can't drive it which is a plus.

It's a good car theft deterrent too. I recall reading that only 18% of Americans know how to drive with a manual transmission (*). Apparently, the percentage of manual transmissions in new cars is under 5%.

* probably that's a bit offer side, as any flattering self-reported statistic like net worth or penis length - my guess would be 10ish percent at most

Wow, didn't realize. The car is a beast in the snow. Almost bought a second stock STI but the wife won't go back to a 6MT.

Build huge Algea production plants in the deserts, turn the sun light and CO2 into Algea, process that into oil and you get to keep making all of those things, you get to keep the oil infrastructure which is pretty well built around the world and its CO2 neutral, it sucks it in and puts out the same.

Even power a power station from it to charge electric cars if you really want to!!

When the oil runs out we need this for all the other things Oil produces, mainly fertalisers, without which there is no way this planet can feed the 7Bil and growing people on it.

We already ran out of oil once. Whale oil. First of all drilling technology is ever evolving. By the time we run out of oil there will be something else available.

All this renewable bs is just federal dollar grab. I am all for alternative energy. But let the free market do its work. If wind solar whatever can compete without gov hand outs then all the better.
