Is this arbitrage?

That's chatgpt!

"Would you like me to help you further?"

Chat got nailed it. I use chatgpt for all my coding needs now...so much better than human help...will do the same for options...much less prickly than P lol. Chatgpt never gets annoyed with a stupid question like humans...it works through it...like I always say if I knew how to ask the perfect question I probably wouldn't need to ask the question in the first place.

The concept of arbitrage continues to mystify you. You're a curious member on ET, since you attempt to lead an informed discussion of options trading, yet your posts are riddled with statements betraying a total lack of understanding basic notions. You don't understand statistics, I'm sure.

Statistics are my strength! Lol ..have you not seen my chart projections? Legendary in any company. Look no farther than this topic ...price did exactly like I set up for. I'm already up 1.03

But ok arbitrage like in mis-pricings where you buy from one exchange and sell in another for a profit?

Or running a script?

Give me an example of advanced arbitrage like something P would do.

C'mon now....What kind of engineer are you?

When I first started, I went down the path of studying Black-Scholes, probability distributions, and Brownian motion before I got into standard TA.

I'm someone who's not interested in short term gambling.
Everything you just mentioned treats price as a random variable. If you're a short term gambler that may be a useful assumption, but in the long term businesses succeed or fail on their fundamentals.
Blacks-Scholes takes none of those fundamentals into account. The price is just treated as a random walk.
