Is there anything to stop a capitulation Tuesday?

My 2c is:

Market capitulations happen very infreqeuntly. 1-2x a decade.

People expect them happen far more frequently maybe 100-200 times a decade.

I'll take those odds every time. So there is no doubt when it happens I will definiitely be on the wrong side.

Cheers

PS tonight feels more like sports betting than short tem investing

For what it's worth, I continue to hold onto my shorts in WM, NCC, WB, ZION, FRE and FNM

The stuff I just put on is:

Long Puts on FRE/FNM, ES
Long Calls on Gold, Yen, Crude Oil

those FRE and FNM puts should do well today following today's WSJ story

Capitulation? My sense is that we are not anywhere near.

Maybe a swing low a few percent lower within a week or so... but that won't be any capitulation.

nice plan from Bill Ackman about how to recapitalise the two companies - includes wiping out common equity holders

Until the central banks of the world begin to act in unison, this won't stop. Our Fed being the biggest morons of that club, incidently.

Did you hear Jim Bunning, Kentucky Senator blast him? WOW! I bet Uncle Ben needed to change his drawers after that!:D
Now that was great stuff! He referenced Uncle Ben's shit to socialism, and kept getting deeper and deeper into his "stuff.":D

I need a "youtube" of that exchange between the Senator and Uncle Ben.:D

Wonder if anyone had it recorded so they can post it? Yes, I'm T.V stupid, so please forgive me for not knowing how to put a T.V broadcast on youtube.:( :p
