Is There A "Do and Don't" List For Option Trading?

Fully understood alright :)

You lot make me laugh.

All experts full of great advice on how to make easy money..LOL

If you think that someone needs to trade options on "the underlying" to make money, then you are the uneducated one :)
Did you even read my post? If you did you didn't understand my statement...

I can read English no problem.

If you do not mean what you say, then you should be more clear with your choice of wording.

There is absolutely no need to trade any type of derivative to make money trading.

It all depends on what the trader is trying to achieve, how much capital is available, what time slots are available, and many other factors like family and social circumstances.

In fact, most who try derivatives end up losing, and the ones who win are the ones who are involved in same as their primary business!

I guess you don't understand options and how they are used. Here's a hint, finance 101 buying underlying at discount and selling at premium. Retail traders don't understand the concept...

I don't trade options any more..no need to :)

yes, most retail traders would not trade options. They prefer to pay full price for the underlying and sell at market, rather than at premium.

Show me where this works with ES options, and you then have my attention, and maybe even my praise :)

Don't do it, lylec305. You are attempting to sate a brainless troll, whose non-comprehensions are well-documented throughout this thread.

The rest of us know the history of market options, the role they have played in risk transfer for 400+ years, and the service provided by those that trade in them (on both sides). Explaining any of that further to a noxious poster set at odds to the subject per se, is casting pearls before (that) swine.

The original poster (who watched a worthwhile thread devolve into a debate on whether the world was flat or not) might appreciate an attempt to return to the original subject.

S.H.I.T.!!!!

(So Happy It's Thursday, y'all!)

I take it that means you can't show it either..LOL

I challenge you to show one ES option setup that 305 speaks about..which I now predict you will decline, for obvious reasons..LOEFL

So many experts, at nothing :)

You lost the freebie route here a while back, genius.
Now there's only Google for you. Go teach yourself.
Or maybe you're more comfortable getting your trading skills from Youtube?
:D:D:D;):D:D:wtf::D:D:D:p
