I’ve heard that the DOM in ToS is incomplete, and that it does not show all of the orders from every exchange. If this is true, what is missing from it, and is there any brokers or platforms that offer a more complete DOM?
Of all the things a trader might consider, this is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down the priority list of importance.
To each their own. It’s something I use though that allows me to be profitable. Would like to get the most out of it. Maybe if you don’t like the question or don’t find it important u could just move on to the next one instead of being a cheeky c*nt by downplaying my question for everyone else that sees it? Rude
You're right. I apologize.
I could, of course, let every vacuous comment and question go unanswered/challenged... but I believe I'm doing a good thing when I point out the stupidity of some things so that others aren't tempted to waste time on them.
Sorry.
One mans trash is another mans treasure. I trade order flow and would like to see all of the orders, not some. I fail to see the stupidity of it but I suppose this is a classic event of you can’t play chess with a pigeon.
Hes not talking about price levels, he’s talking about the aggregate of the exchanges.So... number of contracts bid/offered more than 10 prices away from current bid/ask is useful somehow? Like you somehow get paid for knowing the liquidity "way down the DOM"?
(And watch what you say about pigeons... I'm sure mine could checkmate the CRAP out of your pigeon!)
Hes not talking about price levels, he’s talking about the aggregate of the exchanges.
Are they showing arca, nasdaq, bats, etc. They may not be showing all the exchanges so size isn’t really shown.
I’d think TOS be the best to answer the question.
