Excellent thinking. One catch though. Sentiment indicators can get more and more and more and more extreme before the turn actually occurs. That's why one needs TA to go with it.

Vix however has the whole shabang inside her. Yuge complacency now but what we need is the Trendline to get taken out topside with a yuge candle northbound.

TA on its own = top-notch standalone system

TA + Sentiment = match made in Heaven.
