During the 2008 campaign, Gingrich suggested in a Fox News interview that presidential candidate Obama should return contributions he had received from executives of the two companies ( Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae). He said that in a debate with Obama, GOP presidential nominee John McCain "should have turned and said, 'Senator Obama, are you prepared to give back all the money that Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae gave you?'"

It's impossible that the candidate could be worse than obama. I would vote for Bernie Madoff over Obama.

In my view, the ONLY president in the history of the USA that was worse than Odumbo... Woodrow Wilson... he's the one who gave us the Federal Reserve... for which he even apologized on this death bed... for the "pox he'd cast upon the country"...

Listening to his speech, mostly softball questions, but doing ok. Wish he would actually answer questions instead of just bashing Obama. We get that, we all hate Obama, give us something to actually sink our teeth into. Get over the hate, give us some answers Newt. Now is your time, maybe your only time.

edit: then he says he'll answer any and all questions. Well, just do it. You're sounding good, saying some good things. Run with it Newt, you're a smart guy. Not sure if he's electable, but at this point, you may have to be the guy.
